Studio has also promoted Desiree Finnegan to the post of senior VP of international publicity. Both are based at studio HQ in Burbank.
Volland will continue to head the international publicity department, supervising strategic creation and execution of all publicity campaigns. He will also continue to oversee the division’s talent tours and press junkets, film festivals, local production publicity, media promotions and tie-ins, materials, awards campaigns and publicity strategies and directives to all overseas offices.

Pictures overseas,” said marketing topper Sue Kroll said. “He has bolstered our teams around the world with innovative strategies, market savvy and strong leadership.”
Volland joined the studio in 1998 and was named VP in 2004 and promoted to senior VP in 2007. He started his career at Rogers & Cowan.
Finnegan, who reports to Volland, moves up from the role of VP of international publicity, a post she has held since 2010.
