Ward loads ‘Two Guns’ for U

Thesp joins Wahlberg, Washington in pic

Fred Ward is joining the cast of Universal’s action thriller “Two Guns” opposite Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington, and will play a top-ranking U.S. Navy admiral.

Wahlberg and Washington are starring as a Navy SEAL and a DEA agent, respectively, who work together despite not knowing each is doing so undercover. When the duo steal millions from the CIA, they discover double-crossing associates who will do anything to retrieve the money.

Baltasar Kormakur is directing the pic, which is financed by Emmett/Furla, from a script by Blake Masters that’s based on the graphic novel from Boom Studios. Randall Emmett and George Furla are producing with Marc Platt, Ross Richie, Adam Siegel and Andrew Cosby.

Ward, repped by APA, was seen recently in “30 Minutes or Less.”
