Fox, Carter, McCall to star in relationship comedy
Vivica A. Fox, Joelle Carter and Ross McCall will topline indie relationship comedy “It’s Not You, It’s Me,” set to be shot in Los Angeles in the coming weeks.
“It’s Not You” is directed by screenwriter Nathan Ives of Mule Films from his own script. Project has been developed and produced by Marie Rose of Indie Rose Films, a former story development executive at Disney and MGM.
“It’s Not You, It’s Me” tells the story of a thirtysomething commitment-phobe who breaks up with the love of his life thanks to conflicting advice from his outrageous, inner voices — and says the only thing he can think of to soften the blow: “It’s not you, it’s me.”
Joelle Carter (“Justified”) plays the ex-girlfriend whose own inner voices are pushing her to move on with the next love of her life.
Beth Littleford, Erick Avari and Maggie Wheeler are also starring as well as newcomers Daniel Berson, Jake Eliott, Alina Foley, Darin Heames, Ary Katz, Abby Miller, Amber Seyer, Alex Petrovitch, Gabriel Voss, and Jessica York.
