Tate Taylor signs with CAA

'The Help' director moves over from WME

Tate Taylor has inked with CAA.

“The Help” helmer, who had been with WME, is riding a lot of buzz with the film’s numerous Oscar nominations.

Though he did not earn a nomination, “The Help” stars Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer have emphasized the impact of his direction on their performances.

He is currently set to direct “Peace Like A River,” with Brad Pitt on board to produce and possibly star.

He’s also working on an untitled spec for Warner Bros. with Melissa McCarthy circling.

Tate is managed by John Norris, and his attorney is Stephen Clark at Lichter, Grossman, Nichols, Adler and Feldman.
