Tanna Frederick set for fest honor

Arts promoter to receive CineCause nod at Julien Dubuque fest

Tanna Frederick will be feted with the 2012 CineCause Award at the inaugural Julien Dubuque International Film Festival, to be held in Dubuque, Iowa. Thesp will be honored at a gala on April 20 at the Hotel Julien.

Frederick founded Project Cornlight, designed to foster film and performing arts in Iowa. She also started Project Save Our Surf, which raises funds for ocean conservation.

Award will be presented by CineCause CEO Jon Fitzgerald.
