Screen Media nabs thriller ‘Shuffle’

Indie plans theatrical release for Kurt Kuenne drama

Screen Media Films has acquired North American distribution rights to writer-director Kurt Kuenne’s thriller “Shuffle,” with plans to release the film theatrically later this year.

“Shuffle,” which stars T.J. Thyne and Paula Rhodes, tells the story of a man who wakes up at a different age in his life each morning.

” ‘Shuffle’ is a wonderfully imaginative thriller with twists that will challenge audiences and we are excited to introduce the film into the marketplace,” said Screen Media prexy Suzanne Blech.

Pic previously played at the Sedona Intl. Film Festival, where it won the audience award. It will screen this weekend at the Vail and Phoenix Film Fests, followed a week later by its overseas premiere at the Brussels Intl. Festival of Fantastic Film.
