Rush, Sturgess set for Tornatore drama

Duo to star in 'The Best Offer'

ROME — Geoffrey Rush and Jim Sturgess are attached to star in Oscar-winning Italo helmer Giuseppe Tornatore’s art auction world drama “The Best Offer,” set in Vienna and the Alps.

Ennio Morricone will compose the score, reprising their regular collaboration.

“Offer,” which is being produced by Rome’s Paco Cinematografica, is set to start shooting April 30 in Italy’s Northeastern Friuli Venezia Giulia region, which is providing some coin.

Pic is also partly funded by Italy’s new BLS South Tyrol-Alto Adige film fund in the autonomous Alpine province at Italy’s northernmost point, bordering with Austria.
