Robinson upped at De Line Pictures

Exec will be development VP

Jacob Robinson has been promoted to VP of development at De Line Pictures, a year after joining the Warner-based banner as a creative executive.

Robinson has been most involved with “Ready Player One,” “Beautiful Disaster” and “Going in Style” along with building the banner’s TV side.

Prior to De Line, Robinson had run production company Brooklyn Abridged Films since 2005 where he produced “The Distance Between the Apple and the Tree” and worked in features, shorts, music videos, branded content and commercials.

De Line’s production president Andrew Haas left last month to join Sacha Baron Cohen’s Four By Two Films.
