Relativity taps Jones as creative advertising sr. VP

Former Disney exec will oversee trailers, TV, print campaigns

Relativity Media has named Alyson Jones senior veep of creative advertising.

Jones will work with divison’s recently appointed exec veep Arty Pearson in overseeing trailers, television and print campaigns for the company’s feature films, including Nicholas Sparks’ adaptation “Safe Haven” and thriller “Out of the Furnace.”

She will report to Terry Curtin, prexy of theatrical marketing.

Jones most recently served as veep of creative advertising at Walt Disney, working on campaigns for “The Help” and “War Horse,” among others. She has also worked as director of creative advertising at Sony Pictures.
