'Butter' will be first film under homevideo agreement

Radius-TWC has inked a multiyear homevideo distribution deal with Anchor Bay Entertainment, beginning with comedy “Butter,” which hit shelves this week.

Other pics under the pact include “Lay the Favorite,” “Pusher,” “Bachelorette,” “Dragon” and “The Details.”

Radius-TWC, the multiplatform distribution arm of the Weinstein Co. led by Tom Quinn and Jason Janego, targets pics with a theatrical rollout on fewer than 500 screens. Company found recent success, in particular, with “Bachelorette,” which debuted at No. 1 on iTunes.
