PGA taps Sprung as associate director

Org said hire resulted from growth of programs, members

Susan Sprung has been appointed to the newly created post of associate national exec director for the Producers Guild of America.

The appointment was announced by national exec director Vance Van Petten. The org, which recently passed 5,000 in membership, said the hire is the result of the PGA’s growth in members and the breadth of their programs.

Sprung previously served as special counsel at the law firm of O’Melveny and Myers in Los Angeles. Prior to that, she was an associate at Barrett Smith Shapiro Simon and Armstrong in New York and specialized in general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, large bank financings, private placements and public offerings.

She also served as corporate counsel to Trizechahn Corp. during completion of the Hollywood and Highland project.
