Non-pro Lucas Pittaway was the emotional anchor of frightener “Snowtown,” about the real-life Adelaide serial killer John Bunting. Discovered in a shopping center, Pittaway is now forging a career in acting.

 

 

Kieran Darcy-Smith
Tyro helmer of psychological thriller “Wish You Were Here,” Kieran Darcy-Smith is a founding member of the Blue Tongue Films collective, which includes “Animal Kingdom” helmer David Michod, and he is already working on his next pic, “Memorial Day,” which he also penned.

 

 

Bella Heathcote
“Dark Shadows” star Bella Heathcote was on the Aussie sudser “Neighbours.” The thesp has recently wrapped “Not Fade Away,” the story of a group of friends who form a rock band in 1960s New Jersey. “The Sopranos” creator David Chase directs.

 

 

Jai Courtney
The “Spartacus: Blood and Sand” thesp reportedly landed the role as John McClane’s son in the fifth “Die Hard” installment “A Good Day to Die.” Courtney hails from Western Australia and had bit parts in local TV skeins, “Packed to the Rafters” and “All Saints,” and is currently shooting “I, Frankenstein.”
