Distribution vet Roger Pollock is exiting his post as exec VP of distribution and operations at Paramount Pictures Intl., it was announced Monday by Par Intl. prexy Anthony Marcoly.
Pollock had been serving in his current position since January 2007.
Par Intl. is in the process of consolidating most of its operations to L.A.
Move comes just a few months after former Par Intl. prexy Andrew Cripps ankled the studio after deciding not to relocate to L.A. Studio has shuddered its Rio office and significantly downsized its office in London. (Both Cripps and Pollock were based in the U.K.)
“Roger has been integral in positioning Paramount Intl. as a market leader in global distribution, and we are grateful for all he has done,” Marcoly said in a statement. “I would also like to thank him for his active and ongoing guidance in the transition of our new team and wish him every success in the future.”
As part of the shuffle, Mark Viane, senior VP of distribution for Europe, will relocate to L.A. to take charge of Latin America and Asia/Pacific distrib operations.
Par plans to announce a replacement for Viane to oversee Europe in the coming weeks.
