Nicholas Braun, Brandon T. Jackson ‘Get a Job’

Duo added to cast of CBS Films comedy

Comedy vets Nicholas Braun (“Neighborhood Watch”) and Brandon T. Jackson (“Tropic Thunder”) are joining the cast Dylan Kidd’s CBS Films laffer “Get a Job.”

Written on spec by Kyle Pennekamp and Scott Turpel, script follows a college graduate (Miles Teller, “Project X”) and his friends who have to lower their expectations about life as they enter the real world during a recession.

Braun will play Teller’s perpetually stoned pal who takes a job as a middle school teacher to pay the bills and comes to find his true calling as a basketball coach.

Jackson will play another one of Teller’s best friends who gets work as a day trader and learns that like most people, he has to start at the bottom and work his way up the company ladder.

Bryan Cranston and Anne Kendrick co-star, while Mimi Gianopulos and Jay Pharaoh are set for supporting roles.

Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher are producing “Get a Job” through their Double Feature Films banner.

Braun is repped by WME and Levine Okwu Erickson, while CAA and ML Management rep Jackson.
