Miller headed for ‘Homefront’

Thesp joins Franco, Staham, Ryder in pic

Omar Miller is re-teaming with director Gary Fleder on “Homefront,” joining Jason Statham, James Franco, Frank Grillo and Winona Ryder.

Sylvester Stallone penned the script, and Stallone and Kevin King-Templeton are producing with Avi Lerner and Trevor Short exec producing. Pic revolves around an ex-DEA agent (Statham) who moves his family to a seemingly quiet town that turns out to be rife with violence, drug traffickers and a meth magnate (Franco).

Miller, repped by the Kohner Agency and Larry Brezner at MBST, will portray the only real friend to Statham’s character, who helps keep him and his daughter safe in the volatile surroundings.
