Millennium buys rom-com spec ‘Lauren’

Project's set with Robert Cort Prods.

Millenium NuImage has purchased rom-com spec “Lauren Pemberton is No Longer in A Relationship” with Robert Cort producing.

Story, penned by the scripting team of Isaac Aptaker & Elizabeth Berger, focuses on a guy who reconnects with his high school crush through Facebook when he discovers she is single only to find out that he is not the only one in pursuit.

The “Lauren” script led the duo to positions as staff writers on NBC’s “Friends with Benefits” and they currently serve as executive story editors on “Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous” for MTV after a stint writing for the first season of “I Just Want My Pants Back” on the same network. They’re also adapting the novel “Future of Us” for Warner Bros. with Denise Di Novi producing.

Aptaker & Berger are represented by Verve and managed by Industry and Management 360.
