Michael Madsen, Lacey Chabert, Scott Grimes and Clare Kramer will star alongside Thomas Ian Nicholas in Brian A. Metcalf’s horror/drama “The Lost Tree.”
Metcalf’s is producing and directing from his own script, which is centered around a man (played by Nichols) who is guilt-ridden for the death of his wife, portrayed by Kramer. He travels to an isolated cabin in search of peace and isolation. But he soon learns of the dangerous surroundings of the area.
Madsen is set to play the role of the father and Chabert will play the main character’s best friend and coworker. Grimes will be a real estate agent.
Principal photography is slated to begin next month in Los Angeles. “The Lost Tree” is a Red Compass Media production with Nicholas, Metcalf and Ben Chan producing.
