Meta Golding has been cast in Lionsgate’s “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” in the role of Enobaria, a former winner of the Hunger Games.
Filming of the sequel is expected to start next month.
Golding’s TV credits include a regular role on ABC’s “Day Break,” along with recurring roles on “CSI,” “Criminal Minds,” “House,” and “Cold Case.” She will also be seen in the upcoming independent film “The Chicago 8.”
Francis Lawrence is directing “Catching Fire” in early May and Lionsgate has set a release on Nov. 22, 2013. Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones, and Woody Harrelson will return in their roles.
The film will be produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force with producer Jon Kilik.
Recent “Catching Fire” castings include Patrick St. Esprit, Jena Malone, Lynn Cohen, Amanda Plummer and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
