Lucas Till is in talks to join espionage thriller “Paranoia” opposite Liam Hemsworth.
He’d portray a friend and co-worker of Hemsworth’s character in the pic, set in the world of dueling telco giants.
Robert Luketic is set to direct.
Producers also are in advanced negotiations with Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman.
Stuart Ford’s IM Global is fully financing the film, scheduled for an early summer start date. Producers are Emjag’s Alexandra Milchan, Management 360 and Gaumont.
Till has filmed “Stoker” Fox Searchlight, “Crush” for Intrepid Films and indie project “Dark Hearts” and is expected to film “X-men: First Class 2” next year.
He’s repped by Tom Sullivan at Industry Entertainment, APA, and attorney Howard Fishman.
“Paranoia” is based on the novel by Joseph Finder, whose “High Crimes” was adapted into a 2002 feature starring Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd. Finder is repped by UTA.
