German Federal Film Board (FFA), German Federal Film Fund (DFFF)
In addition to promoting German cinema, the FFA seeks to maintain and improve the German film industry with support for screenplay, production and distribution of films, both domestic and international co-productions. It also oversees the German Federal Film Fund (DFFF).

The DFFF provides some $75 million a year in support for domestic and international co-productions that shoot in Germany. The rebate incentive has proved a major boost for Germany as a location and in particular to the Berlin-Brandenburg region and Studio Babelsberg by attracting major international productions to the country.
