Dark comedy is first feature for RadioactiveGiant
RadioactiveGiant’s Albert Sandoval and Daemon Hillin are producing the feature, the first for the production-distribution company. Joel David Moore, who acted in “Avatar” and the TV series “Bones,” will direct from Justin T. Winters’ script.
Filming began recently in Savannah, Ga.
Story centers on a sixth-grade English teacher (played by Masterson) who’s on a mission to get the newly constructed junior high gymnasium named after his father (Dreyfuss) despite the fact that the person so memorialized must be dead — leading to a bitter contest over the naming rights with his old rival (Glover). Brandt is playing the daughter of Glover’s character and the assistant principal.
Brandt just starred in the Australian surfing movie “Drift” opposite Sam Worthington. She is represented by Innovative Artists and New Wave Entertainment.
