Lauren Gottlieb to star in UTV’s ‘ABCD’

Choreographer-director Remo D'Souza to helm

MUMBAI — India’s UTV Motion Pictures has greenlit 3D dance musical “ABCD,” starring U.S. dancer Lauren Gottlieb.

Gottlieb has appeared on TV in “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Glee,” and in “Hanna Montana: The Movie” and “Disaster Movie.”

Choreographer and director Remo D’Souza (“F.A.L.T.U.”) will helm and co-star. Choreographers Prabhu Deva and Ganesh Acharya are also attached.

Winners of UTV’s popular TV reality show “Dance India Dance” on which D’Souza was a judge, will also appear in the film.

They are Salman Khan (no relation to the Bollywood star), Dharmesh, Prince and Mayuresh.

The film is due for release late this year. Budget details were not revealed.
