Exec to join national publicity team

Gotham praisery Frank PR has tapped Lauren Kleinman as the firm’s new director of national publicity.

Kleiman comes to Frank from FilmDistrict, where she worked in the New York office as director of publicity and promotions, overseeing campaigns for features including “Drive,” “The Rum Diary” and “In the Land of Blood and Honey.” She had initially been hired at FilmDistrict as manager of field publicity and promotions, working on pics including “Insidious” and “Soul Surfer.”

Prior to that gig, Kleiman was a publicist at Allied Integrated Marketing, where she worked on regional marketing pushes with studios including Disney, Universal and Sony.

Headed by New Line vets Clare Anne Darragh and Lina Plath, Frank PR’s client roster includes “Paradise Lost 3,” “Goon” and “Cabin in the Woods” as well as AMPAS, the Cooking Channel and the Hamptons Intl. Film Festival.
