PARIS — “House of Cards” stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright and scribe Beau Willimon will tubthump the Netflix series at next week’s Mipcom TV mart in Cannes, where distributor Sony Pictures Television will shop the series.
Exec produced by David Fincher, “House of Cards” is based on Michael Dobbs’ novel and a BBC miniseries about power struggles and intrigue in Washington, D.C. Netflix has ordered two 13-episode seasons, with the first to bow in 2013. Donen/Fincher/Roth and Trigger Street Prods. are producing, in association with Media Rights Capital. Mipcom runs Oct. 8-11.
