Kelsey Grammer to host DGA Awards

Ceremony set for Feb. 2 at Hollywood & Highland

Kelsey Grammer will return as host of the Directors Guild of America Awrds on Feb. 2 at Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles.

Grammer assumed hosting duties last year after Carl Reiner had been scheduled to host for 24 consecuitive years.

Grammer became a DGA member in 1996 and was nominated for a DGA award for directing in a comedy series for the “Merry Christmas, Mrs. Moskowitz” episode of “Frasier.” He directed nearly 40 episodes of “Frasier” along with helming credits on “Everybody Hates Chris,” “Out of Practice,” “My Ex Life,” “Alligator Point” and “Hank.”

He recently wrapped the feature film “Reach Me.”
