Kazakh pact for WB

Deal includes 'Dark Knight Rises'

Warner Bros. Intl. Television Distribution has inked a multi-year, exclusive output deal with Kazakhstan’s Channel 31, the first such pact ever done in the country.

Channel 31, owned by Russia’s CTC Media, secures broadcast rights to a range of features, TV series and animated fare from Warner Bros., including many titles that have never aired in Kazakhstan.

Among high-profile pics in the deal are “The Dark Knight Rises,” “Inception,” “Clash of the Titans” and “Sex and the City 2,” as well as upcoming Warner releases through 2015.
