Thriller follows paralegal trapped with a killer
Director Joe Johnston is reteaming with his “Captain America” thesp JJ Feild, who has been cast in Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Prods.’ low-budget thriller “Not Safe For Work” along with Tom Gallop and Emmy winner Christian Clemenson (“CSI: Miami”).
Brit scribes Adam Mason and Simon Boyes wrote the script, which follows a young paralegal trapped in an office with a killer on a secret mission to destroy files and anyone that stands in his path.
Max Minghella (“The Social Network”) will star as the cunning protag, while Eloise Mumford (ABC’s “The River”) will play his girlfriend, who works at the same office along with Clemenson.
Jason Blum (“Paranormal Activity”) is producing the pic, which will be exec produced by Couper Samuelson. Bryan Brucks is set to co-produce.
Feild, who co-starred in Neil Marshall’s “Centurion,” is represented by UTA and U.K.-based Ken McReddie Associates. APA-repped Gallop is a veteran TV thesp who recently appeared in the Paul Greengrass-directed sequels to “The Bourne Identity.”
Clemenson, who stars on “CSI: Miami” and won an Emmy for his guest turn on “Boston Legal,” recently appeared in Clint Eastwood’s “J. Edgar.” He’s repped by Stone Manners Salners Agency and manager Mitch Clem Management and Marshak/Zachary.
