John Cusack’s Walk of Fame star comes Tuesday

CusackJohn Cusack, who’s starred in films from “Say Anything” to the forthcoming “The Raven,” is getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday.

The star will be placed in front of Larry Edmunds Bookshop, in honor of Cusacks role as Edgar Allan Poe in Relativity’s “The Raven,” set for release on April 27; sister Joan Cusack as well as Jack Black are set to speak at the ceremony.

The Walk of Fame stars are awarded by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

Your editor’s favorite Cusack role is probably the smart-aleck Lloyd Dobbler in “Say Anything,” followed by the smart-aleck assassin in “Grosse Pointe Blank” and the smart-aleck record-store owner in “High Fidelity.” But he’s also starred in “Sixteen Candles,” “Better Off Dead,” “Con Air,” “The Thin Red line,” “Pushing Tin,” “Cradle Will Rock,” and many, many more.
