James Marsden does ‘Walk of Shame’

Indie comedy also stars Elizabeth Banks

James Marsden has walked into indie comedy “Walk of Shame” alongside Elizabeth Banks.

Steven Brill wrote and will direct the film. Lakeshore’s Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi will produce alongside Sidney Kimmel.

Story follows a high-strung news anchor who, after a wild night out, finds herself locked out on the street with no phone, money, ID or car. She embarks on a series of misadventures to find her way to an important job interview.

FilmDistrict will distribute in the U.S. Lakeshore. Sierra/Affinity recently began international sales at AFM.

Marsden will be seen in next year’s releases “2 Guns” alongside Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington, and “The Butler” in which he will portray President John F. Kennedy.

Marsden is repped by WME and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
