On Sunday night, the Alfred Mann Foundation transformed Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar into a party that would thrill James Bond.
Debbie Allen hosted the annual Inspiration and Innovation Gala, and promised, “It’s an adult playground, that’s what we have tonight.” Guests were given chips to try their luck in the “Casino Royale”-themed event, complete with black jack and poker tables and roulette wheels. Attendees, decked in black and white, also sipped on Bond-inspired Martinis.
Alfred Mann channeled 007 himself in a debonair white jacket, saying, “My sweetheart got me this outfit. I suppose I look a little like James Bond if you don’t look inside of it.”
Allen kept the sexiness going with a gift to Brian Grazer, one of the night’s honorees. “So Brian because you’re so well liked by the ladies, this is for you tonight,” she said before introducing a pair of steamy ballroom dancers and singing “Luck Be a Lady.”
