Imax continues its remarkable expansion in China with the announcement of a deal with Omnijoi Cinema to install five theater systems.
The deal is the latest in its link-up with Omnijoi Cinemas, formerly known as Jiangsu Eudemonia Blue Ocean Cinema Development, and brings the group’s Imax commitment to 13 theaters, Imax said in a statement. This includes a theater already open in the city of Suzhou and another slated to bow in the city of Nanjing, in Zhejiang province in July.
