Exec to drive production financing
LONDON — Brit sales outfit HanWay Films has appointed David Stead as finance director at the company.
Stead’s principal focus will be to manage HanWay’s development into a finance-focused sales business capable of green-lighting production.
The exec has worked in the media biz for 18 years, most recently at Simon Fuller’s 19 Entertainment where he had financial responsibility for projects involving David and Victoria Beckham, Claudia Schiffer and Andy Murray.
He also had sole responsibility for the financial analysis and planning of “American Idol” and “So You Think You Can Dance.”
