Grindstone, Lionsgate on ‘Motorway’

Pair take North America on street racing thriller

Grindstone Entertainment and Lionsgate Home Entertainment have acquired North American distribution rights to Soi Cheang’s action thriller “Motorway,” which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival on Wednesday.

When one of the unit’s best drivers, played by Shawn Yue, finds himself facing off with a legendary fugitive and getaway man (portrayed by Guo Xiadong), he must decide how far he is willing to go to put the fugitive away for good.

“Motorway” is a Media Asia Films and Sil-Metropole presentation of a Milkyway Image production. Executive producers are John Chong and Song Dai.
