Los Angeles-based digital distrib inks deal with Toronto company

GoDigital has inked a digital distribution pact with 108 Media, the Toronto-based distribution and foreign sales company whose slate includes Deepa Mehta’s adaptation of the Salman Rushdie novel “Midnight’s Children,” Michel Gondry’s latest movie “The We and The I” and comic fable “And Now A Word From Our Sponsor,” starring Parker Posey and Bruce Greenwood.

Pics will get a theatrical release through 108 Media’s partnership with Mark Urman’s Paladin; GoDigital will handle digital distribution for all titles.

108 Media has acquired eight films to date. Other titles include Sundance and Berlin prize-winning “My Brother The Devil,” Kazakhstan official foreign language entry “Myn Bala: Warriors Of The Steppe” and “Buffalo Girls,” a docu about the world of child boxing in Thailand.
