Robert Friedman, prexy of media and entertainment at Gotham-based production company Radical Media, will be leaving in several months as his six-year deal comes up, a person close to the company said this week.
Both Friedman and Radical declined to comment, but apparently there is no plan to bring in someone from outside to replace him.
Friedman was previously prexy and managing partner of Classic Media and before that held various senior positions at AOL and Time Warner, including a decade with New Line.
Previously, he was at MTV Networks for eight years.
Radical works in film, television and online. Its diverse projects include “The Fog of War” and TV series “Master Class” with Oprah Winfrey and “Iconoclasts” on the Sundance Channel.
