Freud on and off the rocks

'Dangerous Method' preems in the U.K.

It was drinks all around on Tuesday at the U.K. gala preem of Lionsgate’s “A Dangerous Method.”

Viggo Mortensen and Michael Fassbender, who took on the roles of psychology heavyweights Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung, respectively, were joined by their onscreen patient Keira Knightley at the May Fair Hotel in London.

Apparently, the pic’s sadomasochistic scenes required some libation. Knightley elaborated on her vodka habit prior to filming the more risque scenes. “Michael’s always quite good for keeping something in the freezer,” she revealed.

Fassbender shifted the blame, admitting, “We were all involved. That vodka was actually in Keira’s freezer, but she wouldn’t mention that. She’s a lady.”

The pair ended the evening dancing at Mayfair’s 34 Restaurant, no doubt following a few shots of their new-found freezer friend.
