After an 11-year hiatus, former 20th Century Fox national publicity veep Debbie Miller has returned to the studio as exec VP of marketing.
Effective April 23, Miller will report to chief creative officer Tony Sella and chief marketing officer Oren Aviv.
Studio has also announced the addition of former MarketCast managing director Kevin Yoder as exec VP of research and strategy, effective April 10.
Miller first worked at Fox in 1992, where she joined the studio as director of national publicity. Later promoted to VP, exec helped earn campaign of the year awards from the Publicists Guild for “Independence Day” and “There’s Something About Mary.” She later joined Warner Bros. in 2001 as senior VP, publicity before starting at CBS Films in 2008.
“It’s great when you can welcome one of your family members back into the fold,” Sella said in a statement. “Debbie is not only a perfect fit, but she gives us the experience and skills to expand upon our successes while we continue to evolve and think progressively.”
Miller’s duties at Fox will include overseeing publicity, research and digital marketing.
Before joining marketing research and strategy firm MarketCast, a subsidiary of Variety parent company Reed Business, Yoder served as COO at Nielsen NRG for more than 15 years.
