Exec replaces Bjorn Jacobsen

LONDON — Tore Fredrik Dreyer has been appointed managing director at Fox Norway, where he will replace Bjorn Jacobsen, who is retiring.

Dreyer will take over all the strategic and operational responsibilities for Norway, including theatrical releases for all pics distributed by Fox, Fox Intl., Fox Animation and Fox Searchlight, and any acquisitions and co-productions.

Dreyer has a strong track record in the Norwegian film biz having previously spent several years with United International Pictures as sales manager, before he joined Euforia Film as m.d. at the end of 2010.

His appointment with Fox will take effect in May and he will report directly to Paul Higginson, exec veep Fox in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
