Fox Intl. Prods. taps biz affairs exec

Laine Kline segues from Weinstein Co. post

Twentieth Century Fox has tapped former Weinstein Co. exec Laine Kline as senior VP of business affairs for Fox Intl. Prods.

Kline will report to Stephen Plum and Mark Resnick, exec veeps of business affairs.

In his new post, Kline will negotiate content and partnership deals, including co-productions, acquisitions and financing structures.

At TWC, Kline spent six years as a senior business and legal affairs exec on many of the company’s productions including Quentin Tarantino’s “Django Unchained” and David O. Russell’s “The Silver Linings Playbook.”

Prior to TWC, Kline held posts at the Yari Film Group and Fox-based Walden Media. Earlier in his career, Kline worked for Anschutz Film Group and at entertainment law firm Kenoff & Machtinger.
