Firths, Mara, Davis head for Dubai fest

Amr Waked, Ali Mostafa to attend charity event

ROME — Colin and Livia Firth, Rooney Mara, and Kristin Davis are among celebs lined up to attend a charity event for Oxfam and Dubai Cares during the 9th Dubai Film Festival.

Egyptian thesp Amr Waked (“Syriana,” “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen”) and British-Emirati filmmaker Ali Mostafa (“City of Life”) are also set to attend the black – tie event on Dec. 14 in Dubai’s Armani Hotel.

The “One Night to Change Lives” gala is held under the patronage of UN messenger of peace Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, the wife of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Dubai.

The Dubai fest will run Dec. 9-16.
