Film Movement adopts ‘Hitler’s Children’

Israeli documentary set for limited release in U.S.

Film Movement has acquired Chanoch Ze’evi’s documentary “Hitler’s Children” and plans a New York theatrical opening in the third quarter with a limited national rollout to follow, as well as a day-and-date VOD premiere.

The Israeli documentary features interviews with a number of the descendants of Hitler’s top lieutenants and has screened at Jewish film festivals around the world.

Pic includes interviews with Niklas Frank, son of Hans Frank and godson of Hitler, and Bettina Goering, the great-niece of Hitler’s second in command, Hermann Goering, who lives in voluntary exile in Santa Fe, N.M.

The acquisition was negotiated by Film Movement president Adley Gartenstein and VP of acquisitions and distribution Rebeca Conget with Cinephil managing director Philippa Kowarsky on behalf of the filmmakers.
