LONDON — Film London, the U.K. capital’s film and media agency, has announced a collaboration between its annual Production Finance Market and PrimeXchange, marking its first partnership in India.

PrimeXchange is a co-production workshop providing a forum for indie European and Indian producers.

The alliance will offer a U.K. or European producer from the 2012 PFM the chance to attend Film Bazaar in Goa, run by India’s National Film Development Corp. Film Bazaar is a co-production market including a seven-day professional training program.

“This partnership sees the PFM making formal links with India for the first time,” said Film London chief executive, Adrian Wootton.

Film London will select the producer in collaboration with Berlin-based Primehouse, which founded PrimeXchange, targeting those with projects relevant to the Indian market.
