Dunstan's 'Collection' to preem at fest

Marcus Dunstan’s “The Collection,” about a group of mercenaries tracking down a young woman taken by a psychopathic killer, will world preem at Fantastic Fest later this month, it was announced Wednesday along with the Austin event’s final batch of 26 titles.

Pic was co-written by Dunstan and Patrick Melton and stars Josh Stewart (“Dark Knight Rises”), Emma Fitzpatrick (“The Social Network”) and Christopher McDonald (“Requiem for a Dream”) and will be released in U.S. theaters by LD Entertainment Nov. 30, 2012.

Other pics world-preeming at Fantastic include Rebecca Perry Cutter’s high-school set “Besties,” Arne Toonen’s gangster-fuelled “Black Out,” Ernesto Diaz Espinoa’s “Bring Me The Head of the Machine Gun Woman and” Dario Russo’s “Danger 5.”

Norwegian helmer Fredrik Horn Akselsen’s docu “Exorcist in the 21st Century,” Ryan Polito’s comedy “The Greatest Movie Ever Rolled,” Yudai Yamaguchi’s robot comedy “Tebana Sankichi: Snot Rockets” and the new seven-part Norweigian TV series “Hellfjord.”

Fantastic Fest runs Sept. 20 to 27 in Austin, Texas.
