EuropaCorp headed into ‘Intersection’

Indie sets up love-triangle thriller with Frank Grillo starring

EuropaCorp has set up the love-triangle thriller “Intersection,” with Frank Grillo starring as a newlywed husband whose wife plots his murder on their honeymoon.

David Marconi wrote the script and will direct. Gareth Upton is producing through EuropaCorp.

Story takes place in Morocco, where the wife of Grillo’s character is plotting to kill him with her lover’s help. The plan goes awry when the lover and husband are involved in a car accident on a remote desert road.

Pic goes into production this month.

Grillo had supporting roles in Lionsgate’s “Warrior” and Open Road’s “The Grey.” Coming up for the CAA and Management 360-repped thesp are “End of Watch,” “Disconnect” and Warner Bros.’ “Gangster Squad.”
