Emily Browning is in talks to star in Catherine Hardwicke’s “Plush.”
Hardwicke, who’s also producing, will helm from a script she co-wrote with Artie Nelson.
Story follows a psychic psychologist who delves into the minds of patients and sees their memories in order to help them unleash past demons. He meets his match in Browning’s teen, who shares his gift.
I.M. Global is selling distribution rights at Cannes while Hardwicke looks for the male lead.
Browning was most recently seen in Sundance Select’s “Sleeping Beauty,” and is best known as the female lead in Zack Snyder’s “Sucker Punch
