Dakota Goyo boards Aronofsky’s ‘Noah’

'Real Steel' thesp joins cast of Fox epic

Real Steel” star Dakota Goyo has joined the cast of Darren Aronofsky’s “Noah” as the younger version of Russell Crowe’s title character.

Goyo joins a supporting cast that includes Anthony Hopkins, Jennifer Connelly, Ray Winstone, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth and Barry Sloane, the “Penthouse North” star who was recently tapped to play a poacher in the Paramount/New Regency pic.

Aronofsky’s take on the biblical tale casts Noah as a man who loves Earth and all of its animal inhabitants, but has become disillusioned with the way humans have treated their planet.

Goyo, who starred opposite Hugh Jackman in Shawn Levy’s “Real Steel,” will soon be heard as the voice of the young protag in DreamWorks Animation’s “Rise of the Guardians,” which hits theaters Nov. 21. He’s repped by WME and Thruline Entertainment.

Brit thesp Sloane, who recently landed a recurring role on the upcoming season of ABC’s “Revenge,” is repped by Innovative Artists, the Collective and London-based BWH Agency.
