Actress to receive nod for decade of achievement

Charlize Theron has been tapped to receive CinemaCon’s Distinguished Decade of Achievement in Film Award.

The kudo will be presented April 26 at CinemaCon’s awards ceremonies.

Theron will be seen next in Universal’s “Snow White and the Huntsman,” to be released June 1, and in Fox’s “Prometheus,” set to be released a week later.

Her credits include “Celebrity,” “Cider House Rules,” “Sweet November,” “Italian Job,” “Monster,” “North Country,” “Hancock,” “The Road,” “Monster,” “North County,” “The Life and Death of Peter Sellers” and her most recent film, “Young Adult.”
