Cinema Management sells ‘Sarila’

Luxor, Telepool, 5 Star pictures gets rights to animated feature

Cinema Management Group has sold animated feature “The Legend of Sarila” to Russia’s Luxor, Germany’s Telepool and Israel’s 5 Star Pictures.

CMG is selling “Sarila” at AFM. It has sold rights to Front Row Entertainment, for the Middle East; Associated Euromedia, for Turkey; Talent Epitome, for China; and Jonon Source, for Mongolia.

The action adventure film follows three young Inuits as they embark on a journey while they try to save their clan from being destroyed by a scheming shaman. Voice cast includes Christopher Plummer, Elisapie Isaac, Rachelle Lefevre, Dustin Milligan, Tim Rozon, Natar Ungalaaq and Genevieve Bujold.

“Sarila” is directed by Nancy Florence Savard of 10th Ave Productions, and produced by both Nancy Florence and CarpeDiem’s production team, consisting of Marie-Claude Beauchamp, Paul Risacher, and Normand Thauvette. The film is written by Pierre Tremblay and Roger Harvey.
