“Lemon” is produced and directed by Laura Brownson and Beth Levison of Dandelion Films and was exec produced by Russell Simmons, Stan Lathan and Dan Cogan of Impact Partners. It premiered at the Zurich fest, where it received an honorable mention.

The film will be released on DVD and VOD platforms in North America on Oct. 16 along with ongoing theatrical screenings. Broadcast premiere will take place on PBS’ “Voces” on Oct. 19.

Deal was negotiated by Andrew Herwitz of the Film Sales Co. and Philippe Diaz and Richard Castro of Cinema Libre Studio.
