Advanced ticket sales for Summit’s “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2″ will go on sale Oct. 1, more than six weeks before the film’s nationwide release on Nov. 16.

Sale date, which begins at midnight EST, has been agreed upon by the two largest online ticketing sites, Fandango and Movietickets.com.

Tickets for the four-movie “Twilight” marathon on Nov. 15 also will be made available starting midnight Oct. 1.

Both ticketing sites are offering a grand prize of two tickets to the L.A. premiere of “Breaking Dawn — Part 2.” Contestants will be made eligible by purchasing advanced tickets for the finale.

The penultimate “Twilight” ultimately grossed more than $705 million worldwide.
